Increasing Sales, Productivity & Bottom Line Results
Thursday, November 5, 2009
CRM ( Customer Relationship Management ) is a software investment most companies consider only when their sales process is creaking at the seams either because your team is far too busy, or worse, because they’re not effective enough. If you are considering the investment and the obvious rewards of pipeline tracking, contact management and sales reporting, it often makes sense to consider if your sales process is defined and sensible. We recently met Craig Stretch, an expert in this area, with many years of sales and CRM implementation experience, and a specialisation in Salesforce.com the online CRM leader. Craig is a consultant who can quickly grasp process and identify issues, typically in one day. He has, over many years, used CRM to tangibly improve the sales process and share information between salespeople, partners, internal and external customers as well as sales management. If you would like to investigate how Craig could help your business increase sales, productivity and bottom line results then follow the link below and drop us a line: http://www.longleyacademy.com/about_longley/contact_us.html Alternatively you can visit Craig's website at: http://www.salesforceconsultant.co.uk/

The same game with changing rules calls for sharper tools
Monday, November 2, 2009
The past 12 months have forced us all to reassess what it will take to continue to be successful in challenging environment. Whilst the game remains the same i.e. profit, turnover, target, return on investment etc the rules seem to change from day to day and it is debatable if we will see a return to a boom economy in the short term.
Our recent experience has confirmed that the organisations who continue to thrive all have answered the following three vital questions:
- What is the vision for the future?
- Who internally is best placed to deliver it?
- How are we going to make it happen?
We would be interested to understand how the rules have changed for your organisation and how you plan to address the above three questions.

Monday, September 28, 2009
More frequently we are asked the question “how can I justify investment in training and development in light of the economic downturn when budgets are under increasing pressure?” Pinpointing the areas within a business that require intervention and having the ability to demonstrate the tangible return on investment of any development activity is vital in today’s business world.
Here at The Longley Academy we have diligently researched & developed the ‘best of breed’ in on line tests and assessments, allowing you, our clients, to enjoy swift, cost effective and quantifiable reinforcement of any learning / training. Our Fit4 technology is proven to be the most robust method available to assess individual ability to deliver profit and revenue for an organisation, essential when selecting the talent of tomorrow.
